2 Dead After Shooting in Absecon

2 Atlantic County men are dead following a shooting in Absecon early Sunday.

Atlantic County Prosecutor Jim McClain reports Absecon Police responded to a 9-1-1 call just before 5am at the Red Roof Inn on East Absecon Boulevard.

When they arrived, officers found two men dead as a result of apparent gunshot wounds. The dead have been identified at Diante Owen, 22, of Pleasantville, and Gerald Alvarez, 22, of Mays Landing.

Meanwhile, two men  walked into AtlanticCare Medical Center in Galloway with gunshot wounds yesterday morning. Detectives are attempting to determine if the victims are connected to the motel shooting.
