22-Year-Old Bridgeton Man Shot and Killed, Suspect At-Large

Bridgeton Police say no arrests have been made in the Wednesday night fatal shooting of a local man.

Police say Davonte H. Burrus was shot at the Maple Gardens Apartment Complex, where police found him shortly after 6pm.. Burrus was taken to the hospital, but died of his injuries.

Bridgeton Chief of Police Michael Gaimari says his department is seeking a lone gunman, dressed in all black, who fled the scene shortly after the shooting.
