It’s time for another round of Georgia’s 5 Favs!

1.  A tropical vacation

I don't know about you, but after Halloween got cancelled, Hurricane Sandy and a Nor'Easter, I could use a vacation!  My girlfriends and I are talking about a girls trip to somewhere tropical, similar to this Mexican trip my husband and I took last August to celebrate our anniversary.  Yay to girls trips!

2.  My Hunter boots

My parents gave me these boots a few years ago for Christmas.  I haven't really had many chances to wear them, however.  Until last week...  When that mean lady Sandy came rushing in, I got my chance!  They are weatherproof, comfortable and cute.  I should've worn them yesterday with all that crazy snow!

3. My Grandmother's Christmas Cactus

This picture was from last year.  When my grandmother passed, I was given her Christmas cactus plants.  She had a very strong green thumb, so I have to take extra special care of these beauties.  And so far, so good.  My plants are just getting small blooms on them right now and they will look like the picture above by Thanksgiving.  And I can't wait.  So pretty!

4.  This salad dressing... oh this dressing!

Notice the empty wine glass in the background....  I first had this salad dressing in Atlanta and my parent's house.  They got it at a grocery store called Kroger.  We don't have any Kroger's in this area, so I set out on a mission to find this dressing somewhere!  And I did!  I found it at my local Acme.  Do yourself a favor and go get a bottle (it's pricey, but a little goes a long way!).  It's garlicky and sweet and tangy.  So so so good.

Sephora Moonshadow Palette

Don't mind how messy my palette is.... Sephora is one of my favorite stores.  If you couldn't tell, I kinda like makeup.  As seen here and here - all of my 5 Favs so far have included some makeup product!  Anyway....  Sephora has this great palette in their stores for $30.  Seems pricey, but it will last you forever.  It's a great gift too and the colors are awesome.  It's a baked palette, which means you can use the eye shadows wet or dry.  Wet (I dampen my makeup brush and then dip into the color) gives you a brighter, more concentrated color than dry does.  Love all of them!

And there you have it! Feel free to suggest things that you’re into – maybe I will mention it here on my 5 Favs!
