Police in Hamilton Township say they are alarmed at 6 overdoses from Heroin - including one death from the drug.

Police say they have responded to six overdoses since the beginning of the month.

Three of the non-fatal overdose victims were revived with Narcan, which was administered by EMS. The investigation revealed that (3) three of the overdoses could be linked. Blue, wax fold bags, with no stamps, were recovered or seen at those scenes.

Additionally, one of the non-fatal overdoses could be connected to a fatal overdose that occurred in Somers Point, NJ.  It was reported to police that a wax fold bag with a “Take Over” stamp was destroyed prior to police arrival at one of the non-fatal overdoses in the Township of Hamilton.  This agency received information pertaining to a fatal overdose that occurred in Somers Point, NJ, where wax folds with the “Take Over” stamp were recovered from the scene.
