Have you ever wondered if the emotions/ actions that you have, make you seem crazier than you actually are?

Or maybe you're actually crazy and you just don't know it....

Similar to sociopathy, science & an article on Mental Floss says that:

Psychopaths don't feel empathy or remorse, are superficially charming, and prone to manipulating those around them for their own gain

Little do you know, these may be characteristics that you unknowingly have-- based off of these 6 behaviors that classify a Sociopath

    You Studied Business

A 2017 study analyzed undergraduate personality traits and found that majors focused around money, power, and status correlate to the "Dark Triad"—which is a joint term for the 3 dark traits of narcissism, Machiavellianism, and psychopathy. In which case, business/sales holds the most sociopaths.

    You Don't Catch Yawns

Personally, if you don't catch a yawn then you'd freak me the F#*k out too... like how do you not?! Apparently, the contagion of a yawn is a response to empathy in the human brain. So if you fail to catch a yawn, then you lack empathy, which is a character trait of a cold hard psychopath.

    You're A Night Owl

The Dark Triad comes into play again here. A similar study revealed that socio/psychopaths enjoy staying up late, or not sleeping at all, because they feel like the darkness of the night covers up any bad deeds.

    You love Eminem

No...not the candy. The rapper. Apparently sociopaths have a music playlist that speaks to their soul. And during an NYU study, scientists discovered that those who held higher degrees of the mental disease had Eminem's "Lose Yourself" on their playlists.

    You're Creative

Being creative usually involves taking artistic risks. That risk then develops into adrenaline, which then causes a psychopath or sociopath to march to the beat of their own drum, which in turn-- leads to breaking some rules that could eventually result in breaking the law. BOOM.

You're Still Friends With Your Exes

This one, I needed a bit more of an explanation for--considering I definitely maintain a friendship with almost all of my exes... APPARENTLY:

Psychopaths are known for cold calculation and manipulation, and that trait may lead them to keep their exes around long after the relationship ends.

Another huge red flag for a sociopath is narcissism. In which case, Mental Floss says "Narcissists hate to fail or lose, so will do what they can to maintain some connection if they didn't make the choice to end it."

A recent study from Oakland University in 2017 shows that sociopaths tend to keep exes in their lives for "pragmatic, transactional reasons". Meaning, it would give them the ability to hook up with them again later, knowing that the ex has something that the psycho wants.
