According to NJ.com, Tony Cutugno or 'Shark Tony' caught a 7-foot shark while kayaking 200 yards offshore in Longport.

He struggled with the beast until he made his way back to the shore where he realized he had caught a 7-foot, 150 pound sand tiger shark!

After posing for a few selfies, Shark Tony sent the shark on it's way back into the ocean.

Shark Tony is a widely known character on the Southern Jersey shores,

NJ.com says that,

"So far, he's caught six sharks this summer from his kayak: four brown sharks and two sand tigers. That's added to the more than 300 sharks he says he's caught over the course of his life. (Cutugno says he releases every single shark he catches.)"

Cutugno says he just wants to catch a big fish....
