We would like to remind people that are thinking about committing a crime that cameras are everywhere these days.

Two South Jersey men were apparently not aware of that and are they are now facing charges.

Atlantic City Police say around 3:00 Thursday morning, surveillance center personnel observed 32-year-old Lamar McCoy of Cape May and 48-year-old David Moore of Atlantic City remove a wood panel from Celebrity Corner at 3101 Boardwalk and enter the closed business.

Responding officers located McCoy inside the store gathering numerous liquor bottles, valued at more than $1,300, that he was attempting to steal. McCoy was taken into custody. Meanwhile, cops say Moore fled the store before they arrived, but an officer in the area saw him running down Chelsea Avenue where he was arrested.

Both McCoy and Moore were charged with burglary, theft, and active warrants; both were remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
