Lidl is looking to expand in the United States with stores from New Jersey all the way down to Georgia.  They're looking specifically in Upper Deerfield, Millville and Vineland.

The existing stores are huge - 36,000 square feet and a minimum of 150 parking spots.  The hopeful locations in New Jersey would be helpful considering some grocery store chains have recently closed in Millville and Upper Deerfield.  The German company has already met with the Vineland Planning Board.

According to NJ.com,

Lidl operates 10,000 stores in 26 countries but has not opened one in the United States. On its website, Lidl has a section where individuals can submit properties that fall under Lidl's criteria for a new location.

I'll keep you posted with any other details.
