A Group is Raising Money to Send Chris Christie Mops

You knew it was going to happen.

A group from Lambertville has created a Go Fund Me page to raise $1000 to send mops to Governor Chris Christie.

The group has raised $380 as of Wednesday afternoon...  I have no doubt that they will raise $1000.

And if you would like your donation to go to someone who really did sustain damage in Winter Storm Jonas, the group will gladly accommodate your donation!

Here's what "Mops for Christie" wrote on their fundraising page:

Instead of staying in the state and being a leader during a record breaking Blizzard, our governor has abandoned us for his presidential campaign. For his own personal gain, he abandoned  the people that he promised to govern and lead. This is unacceptable of a leader and an embarrassment to the people of New Jersey. Lets join together by raising funds to Mop up the mess we have in Trenton.
Funds will be used to send as many mops as possible to the Governor of New Jersey.

If you would like to have the $ go towards some other major need as a result of this storm, you can say so in your donation comments.  I will send you a confirmation when it gets to where you want it go! Also,  there will be many volunteering opportunities around these areas. So please stay on the lookout for opportunities to help others in need within your local community .
