Uh, oh. An Atlantic City casino group admits it photoshopped a picture of the crowd at the recent Lady Antebellum beach concert for a newspaper ad.

Casinos linked to deception? Say, it ain't so!

The Atlantic City Alliance is a group put together by Atlantic City Casinos to promote Atlantic City. They are the folks behind the "Do AC" campaign - and, they are the group who paid for and produced the recent Lady A and Blake Shelton beach concerts.

In advertisements that have run in several newspaper, the Alliance included photos of the Lady Antebellum beach concert, that were certainly "doctored." Images were moved, the crown was enhanced (some people can be seen in the crowd several times), things were removed.

In an article on nj.com:

Liza Cartmell, president of the Alliance, said the composite work was done to cover up video towers and alcoholic beverages.

"The overall look in comparison to the original picture, however, was not designed to make it appear more crowded," Cartmell said.

She said the original images were posted on the web and throughout social media, "so we are comfortable that the realism in the beach scene shot is not impacted."

It is this person's opinion, the doctoring the photos was a really dumb idea. Why not use the real thing? Crowds for both shows were huge, and both events were very successful. No need for being sneaky at all!

By the way, I'm not  a professional photographer, but here's a photo of the "Actual Crowd" from the Blake Shelton show. It's from a different angle, but it shows a huge crowd! Dear Atlantic City Alliance: Next time if you need a cool picture, just ask me! I'd be glad to help!
