AC To Issue Courtesy Tickets

Shoppers in Atlantic City who forget to feed the meter will get a break starting Sunday.The Atlantic City Police parking enforcement unit will continue their tradition of issuing courtesy cards instead of parking tickets through Tuesday, January 1 for expired parking meters.

Shoppers are being encouraged to park in well lit areas, lock their purchases in the trunk, shop in groups and carry a minimal amount of cash.
