American Idol Recap, Hollywood

American Idol was in Hollywood for the first time in season 11 last night.  Over 300 hopefuls arrived in Los Angeles, hoping to get another golden ticket.   Unfortunately, a lot of them were sent home.  The contestants had to sing acoustically in front of the judges, who offered little in the way of feedback, before they were told their fate.  Harsh!  Even Jim Carey's daughter was sent home!  She talked about how she was really nervous and disappointed in herself.  Her famous dad said he got told 'no' a lot and that ended up working out just fine.

Phillip Phillips & Reed Grimm - I didn't think that Phillip Phillips did a GREAT job, but Reed Grimm was too funny to not let through! 

Jeremy Rosado - He's second in this clip - third is Symone Black, she falls off the stage at the end after apparently passing out!  It's so scary to watch.  That's your warning.  Ryan Seacrest promised an update on her condition on tonight's episode.

The dreaded groups start tonight on Fox at 8pm.
