An Official Shower Beer Exists

You may have heard of a shower beer or maybe you've had a few yourself.

According to UrbanDictionary.com a shower beer is "The beer you take into the shower when you're in a hurry to go out and still need to get cleaned up, or want to relax from a long day."

A brewery in Sweden has now created an official shower beer, appropriately called Shower Beer. PangPang Brewery and Snask, a creative agency, are to thank for this invention.

What makes this beer the best beer for the shower?

The bottle is only 6oz so you can drink it down quickly in the shower without it getting warm. The average bottle of beer is 12oz.

This beer also has 10% ABV (alcohol by volume). By comparison: Miller Lite has 4.2% ABV, Yuengling Traditional Lager has 4.4% ABV, Guinness Draught has 4.2% ABV, and Blue Moon has 5.4% ABV.

Since the ABV is more than double the average beer it gets you buzzed just as quickly with the smaller sized bottle. They really thought of everything.

Although the Shower Beer has a very high ABV, they made sure it did not taste too strong or potent. The founder of PangPang brewery, Fredrik Tunedal, has explained the flavor as a sweet pale ale with citrus and soapy notes. I mean you are drinking it in the shower.

Unfortunately for us here in the U.S. we will have to wait to get the Shower Beer. They sold out the first time around and now they are looking for ways to distribute and brew worldwide.
