Are You Ready To “Do AC!”?

The Press of Atlantic City is reporting that the new slogan for Atlantic City is "Do AC!"

Huh.

I was eating dinner at a restaurant the other night, and a guy at the next table told the waitress that he would like to "Do the Chicken Francaise." The first thought in my head was, "Ewwww."

So, 30 million dollars is being spent, and the best idea to be found is, "Do AC!"

Huh.

The plans are for Atlantic City to use the slogan in luring visitors to the resort.

"Luring." Huh.

Gone is "America's Favorite Playground", and the more recent, "Always Turned On." Now, it's "Do AC!"

Huh.

Am I the only one who finds this a little too sexual in nature?

"Hey, honey, let's go Do AC!"

Huh.

Maybe after we "Do AC!", we could go "Do Consumer Square."
