Atlantic City Expressway Reopened After Multi-Car Crash
One lane is still closed on the eastbound Atlantic City Expressway following two separate accidents in the same area.
Police are still on the scene of the accidents, which took place around 6 a.m. and 7 a.m. near Berlin-Crosskeys Road.
WPVI TV reports that in the first accident one person suffered serious injuries; the South Jersey Times reports two people were ejected for their vehicles and a vehicle caught fire. The second accident involved one vehicle rear-ending the other which was far less serious.
The road was completely closed for about an hour to allow two medical helicopters to land to rend to injuries from the earlier accident.
