Atlantic City's impressive array of restaurants and love apparently go together.

Just in time for Valentine's Day, OpenTable has named Atlantic CIty the Most Romantic Dining City in America!

Stop laughing - it's true!

How did it happen? Here's OpenTable's criteria:

In order to provide a ranking of cities where romantic dining is inherently part of the culture, the OpenTable Most Romantic Cities Index was calculated using three variables: the percentage of restaurants rated “romantic” according to OpenTable diner reviews; the percentage of tables seated for two; and the percentage of people who dined out for Valentine’s Day last year.

So, obviously, Atlantic City won thanks to an abundance of romantic restaurants and some very good reviews. Maybe those "DoAC" people know what they're talking about, eh?

Atlantic City came out of top, followed by San Antonio, Texas, Providence, Rhode Island, and Key West Florida.
