Atlantic City School District Employees Re-Hired

Almost 30 employees who were laid off by the Atlantic City school district earlier in the year have been re-hired.

Seven tenured teachers, ten aides and twelve non-tenured staff members have been re-hired according to NJ.com.

The school district laid off 225 employees at the end of the last school year.  Thanks to a federal grant to fund a pre-school program, the 29 employees are back to work!
