WHAT!! Bacon Shortage?

WHAT?  This must be a lie!  Say it ain't so!

Unfortunately, it's probably true.  The United States is battling one of the worst droughts in 50 years.  Farmers across the country are having to reduce the size of their pig herds as the cost of feed rises.

Farmers are urging people to buy pork now in order to convince supermarkets to pay pig farmers higher prices for their stock.

What would I do without BLT's, Baconnaise, bacon, egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches, bacon wrapped shrimp, Cobb salad............

What about a Bacon Breakfast Cookie?  No?
