I don't think I would ever see pork roll and exotic put together in the same sentence. Pigs must be flying because a bagel shop in Boston has done just that.

Better Bagels in Boston offers what every bagel shop in New Jersey does. They have a variety of bagels, spreads, and sandwiches.

The first thing I noticed with their menu was the prices. They are expensive compared to a Jersey bagel shop. $4.50 for a bagel with butter or cream cheese. We would all be so broke here in Jersey.

I took a gander at the breakfast sandwich options because every Jersey person loves a good breakfast sandwich. They offer the standard egg and cheese with choice of meat, a chipotle turkey, country ham and then there is the "Jersey Shore".

"Exotic Breakfast Meat from NJ."

Exotic?

First of all we are not that far from Boston. From our studio the bagel shop in Boston is just under 5 hours and 40 minutes away. I don't think that makes us exotic.  According to Google exotic is "originating in or characteristic of a distant foreign country."

Foreign Country.

Also, $10 for a pork roll, egg, and cheese?!?!?! What?!?!?!

I think here in New Jersey we should capitalize on this. When you hear exotic you think fancy. There is something alluring about something that is exotic. We should refer to pork roll as exotic all of the time.
