Bass Pro Shops is Coming To Atlantic City

Bass Pro Shops has reached an agreement to be a part of the next phase of development at Tanger Outlets The Walk in Atlantic City.

The new Bass Pro Shops will be located on Atlantic Avenue, right as you enter Atlantic City. Groundbreaking for the store, which should exceed 70,000 square feet, is scheduled to open at the end of 2013 or early 2014.

In a press release, Johnny Morris, founder of Bass Pro Shops, said, Atlantic City is one of the great gamefish areas along the East Coast. We are excited...to better serve customers and outdoor enthusiasts that visit and live in this part of the country.”

If you've never been to a Bass Pro Shops store before, they are massive retail and entertainment centers. According to the company, their average customer travels over 50 miles to get to the store and, once there, stays over two and a half hours.
