Thank you Dave Grohl.  Dave Grohl in his acceptance speech last night at the Grammy's following The Foo Fighters win for Best Rock Album,

"To me this award means a lot because it shows that the human element of making music is what's most important.  Singing into a microphone and learning to play an instrument and learning to do your craft, that's the most important thing for people to do.  It's not about being perfect, it's not about sounding absolutely correct, it's not about what goes on in a computer.  It's about what goes on in here (points to his heart) and it's about what goes on in here (points to head)"

Woah.  Perfectly put.  He also commented on the fact that their album was recorded in his garage with nothing but microphones and a tape machine.  Brilliant.  Hey if it worked for The Beatles....

Adele

Second best quote comes from Adele after winning her Grammy for Album of the Year for 21,

"Oh my, got a bit of snot"

Bahahahaha!  She' classic!

The Civil Wars

Another great moment came from John Paul White form The Civil Wars right before they were about to perform,

"We'd like to thank all of our opening acts tonight, especially that very promising kid from Liverpool."

Obviously ribbing Paul McCartney.  Then The Civil Wars proved that they deserved every award they won last night by their short performance before introducing Taylor Swift.  Just brilliant.  If you didn't know who The Civil Wars were before last night, you should know now.  Download their album.  You can hold me personally accountable if you don't like it.  Because you will love it.
