Beyonce to Perform at Halftime of Superbowl

The Associated Press is reporting that Beyonce will be the halftime entertainment at this season's Super Bowl.

The AP  quotes a source as saying the diva will rock the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans on February 3.  An official announcement is reportedly expected on Wednesday.

It's not Beyonce's first Super Bowl appearance.  In 2004, she performed the national anthem in her Houston hometown prior to the New England Patriots-Carolina Panthers contest.

Madonna was the halftime performer at this year's Super Bowl.
