The Wildwood area goes country this weekend with the third annual Boots at the Beach Festival.

Live bands, country music, line dancing, square dancing and more will be featured on the street and in the bars along Olde New Jersey Avenue in North Wildwood.

Activities begin during the day Friday with an outside stage featuring the bands 40 North, The Sherwood Brothers, and Wesley Spangler.

Late Friday night, the country music will move inside the bars.

On the outdoor stage Saturday will be Steel Creek, another appearance by The Sherwood Brothers, plus Triple Rail Turn (formerly Philbilly), and Adam Yarger.

Square Dancing with a caller will be held beginning at 11am Saturday, with line dancing also taking place Saturday afternoon.

For the first time, beer and other alcoholic beverages will be sold on the street. There will also be food trucks, vendors, and more. Admission to all the events is free.

I'll be broadcasting live from the festival Saturday from 12noon - 4pm.
