A 9 year old boy in North Carolina has been told to leave his 'My Little Pony' backpack featuring Rainbow Dash at home because it makes him a target for bullying.

Grayson Bruce is a fan of the show My Little Pony, which is why he choose the backpack but was teased by his classmates for his 'girly' tastes. According to Grayson, he was not only teased, he was pushed and punched in addition to being called names.

The school's resolution was to ask Grayson to leave the backpack at home. Do you think this was appropriate? I'm personally a fan of My Little Pony. I still have the original line of ponies that came out when I was a child. Should the bullies be punished? What would you do if this happened to your child? Please leave your comments below.
