Dayna Morales, who works at the Gallop Asian Bistro in Bridgewater, was left a note instead of a monetary tip by a family on their receipt on Wednesday night. "It says, 'I'm sorry but I cannot tip because I do not agree with your lifestyle and how you live your life,'" Morales told ABC 7 of the note left behind on the $93 bill.

The evening started with Morales making the standard introduction to her customers to which the mother at the table said, "Oh I thought you were gonna say your name is Dan. You sure surprised us!"

She did not share her lifestyle information with the family during an otherwise uneventful dinner. In fact, while Morales is openly gay, she had not shared that information with her family. She did, however, take a picture of the message and post it on on her Facebook and other social media.'

Morales in her post on the Instinct website said she was "THOROUGHLY offended mad pissed off and hurt that THIS is what her kids will grow up learning and that I served in the Marines to keep ignorant people like them free." She added,  "Sorry lady but I don't agree with YOUR lifestyle and the way you're raising your kids but you didn't see me throwing that in your face and giving you s****y service. Keep your damn mouth shut and pray we never cross paths again."

A manager at the restaurant told News 4 New York, "We support Dayna 100 percent. She's a wonderful person and a wonderful server, and we are extremely proud of her and the way she handled this situation."
