Now that we have a better sample size, we will put together our weekly list of the Cape-Atlantic League version of the Fine 5 - a list of the five best teams in the CAL.

We'll post some of the top performances and teams and give you games to watch moving forward each week - so here is this week's 'CAL Fine 5'.

1. St. Augustine Prep Hermits (4-0):  The Prep is a perfect 4-0 and has really got through the toughest part of their scheduled already, beating St. Joe's Millville and Atlantic City - handily.  Running back Kyle Dobbins is the top rusher in the CAL with 600 yards and seven touchdowns.  Quarterback Jose Tabora has 11 touchdown passes and 783 yards passing in four games.  Next: at Mainland

2. St. Joseph Wildcats (3-1): The Wildcats have won three in a row after their opening night loss to the Prep, but don't seem to have the same firepower as they have have in past years.  They won a 13-7 game in overtime last week against Millville and were down 6-0 at halftime to Vineland before coming back to win 29-6 without the services of running back A'laam Horne (374 yards, 6 TD) who went down with an injury.  Next: @ Mount St. Joseph (Baltimore, MD)

3. Cedar Creek Pirates (3-1): While the Pirates are coming off a 12-6 overtime loss to Bridgeton, they are an explosive team and you have to wonder if the weather on Friday night played a factor in their offense scoring just six points.  They have some of the best talent in the area on offense with Bo Melton, Ahmir Mitchell and quarterback Jesse Milza, who is the top passer in the CAL with 811 yards.  Next: BYE

4. Buena Chiefs (3-1): The Chiefs rebounded after a tough loss at home to Cedar Creek by beating Oakcrest 19-13 in overtime.  They Chiefs are a veteran team who has some really good talent on offense with Sammy Crouch, Quadir Albright and quarterback Tyler Rainer leading the way.   Next: at Holy Spirit

5. Egg Harbor Twp (3-1): Even though EHT lost 10-7 on Friday night, they really dominated the game, but the weather conditions were really a factor in the game.  I think if that game is played under normal conditions its fair to say the Silver Eagles would be 4-0 - they turned the ball over four times had numerous bad snaps and had a bad snap on the game's final play when attempting a field goal that would have tied the game.  Sure Absegami had to play under the same conditions, but keep in mind EHT was also playing without top offensive weapon Dante Moore, the third leading rushing in the CAL with 391 yards and four touchdowns.  Quarterback David Rice and wideout Spencer LaSure are also big weapons  for EHT. Next: vs. Ocean City
