Carrie Underwood to Sing Sunday Night Football Theme

According to the Los Angeles Times, Carrie Underwood will be the new voice of NBC's Sunday Night Football.

Carrie Underwood will replace Faith Hill to sing her version of, "Waiting All Day for Sunday Night."

The song debuted on Sunday night back in 2006, first sung by Pink, and is a version of Joan Jett's, "I Hate Myself for Loving You."

Underwood will make her Sunday night debut before the first Sunday broadcast of the 2013 football season on September 8th, the Dallas Cowboys will play the New York Giants.
