Cat Country Counts On to One Million Pennies
While most people will be collecting candy this Halloween, the Cat Country crew was out collecting pennies. We finished up the month of October with two Quests benefiting St. Jude Children's Hospital.
At our Quest for One Million Pennies at Absecon Veterinary Hospital the wind almost blew us away but it didn't stop our listeners who came out to donate their spare change. The pennies rolled in - and a few four legged donators stopped by on their way inside.
Not only were we giving out Cat Country pint glasses, we also had some treats: pet snacks for our furry friends and candy for our listeners! Our buckets were full of loose change which kept our Cat Country fun and games crew busy all day.
At our Mini Quest at Hitch RV in Turnersville, we had some awesome donations! We even had some donations dropped inside one of the RV's that we got to look in. With another weekend of collecting in the books we appreciate every penny that we've received.
If you missed this weekend there's only one more chance to donate! Make sure you don't miss it.
