Just in time for the big winter storm, Cat Country has completed installation of it's thermal audio warming system.

The new technology is expected to benefit Cat Country listeners as soon as the system goes online at approximately 8:15am Friday.

Thermal Audio is a new concept developed by engineers in New Zealand, purely by accident. In effect, the new Cat Country Thermal Audio will provide radiant heat to listeners' speakers, acting as sort of a built-in-heater-in-the-radio.

Cat Country 107.3 and Townsquare Media Atlantic City Engineer Tom McNally says the new Cat Country Thermal Audio System is great. "The new Cat Country Thermal Audio System is great", says McNally.

Approved by the Federal Radio Association, Cat Country's Thermal Audio System is the first system to go online in the United States. Only one other radio station in the world currently has the system operating -  a radio station in Antarctica.

We don't plan to use the system all the time, just when we think you should be warmer than you probably are.

You're welcome!
