Compete In The Cat Country Texaco Showdown Preliminary Event

Cat Country 107.3 presents the Texaco Country Showdown, Saturday, August 18th at Tanger Outlets in Atlantic City. We will start taking applications for the event in a couple weeks.

In the meantime, we are holding a few preliminary events where you can perform, and win automatic entry into the August 18th finals.

The next such event will be held Wednesday at 7pm at Joe Pops Bar and Restaurant, on Long Beach Island. The event will be prior to the Chuck Wicks concert that night. This preliminary will be for single performers only, and, if chosen, you must bring along your own background music, sing accapella, or provide your own musical accompaniment (such as a guitar). You also must be 21 or over for this event. If selected, you will be required to pay a one-time $20 fee and be willing to fill out a Country Showdown application at the event. If selected to perform, you will automatically win 4 tickets to the Chuck Wicks show that night.

All emails must be received by  4pm  this Monday. We will randomly select between 5 and 7 finalists. You will be contacted by Tuesday morning only if you have been chosen to compete. If you are not contacted by the end of the day Monday, you have not been picked. If you are not chosen, keep listening to Cat Country 107.3 for future opportunities.
