Releasing an album is a major undertaking, so you’d think someone would take a look at a calendar to be sure there isn’t anything strange standing in the way of an artist and a great first week of sales. Craig Morgan appears to be worried that ‘World Sleeping Day’ could hurt today’s (Feb. 28) release of ‘This Ole Boy.’

In this video exclusive to Taste of Country, Morgan gets the bad news. He’s understandably “outraged,” but manages to calm down enough to return to his nap. Hmmm … is it possible that this unheard of holiday isn’t quite as big as Morgan’s caller seems to be indicating?

‘This Ole Boy’ is Morgan’s sixth studio album and his first since ‘That’s Why’ in 2008. Black River Entertainment is releasing the project, which features the Top 30 and climbing title-cut. In an interview with Taste of Country Morgan said this may be the best album he’ll ever cut.
