A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect for the entire state until 12noon as visibility is less than a quarter mile. Drivers should leave extra distance ahead of them and use high beams on the roads.

As temperatures hover around the freezing mark, there could be icy patches on highways in rural areas and on overpasses.

There could also be a thin coating on cars to scrape.

New Jersey Fast Traffic reports speed on the New Jersey Turnpike has been reduced to 45 MPH between exit #1 (Delaware Memorial Bridge) and #7A (I-195) and to 35 MPH on both the Betsy Ross Bridge and Commodore Barry Bridges.
