How many times have you seen someone driving badly because they were paying more attention to their cell phone conversation instead of their driving? If you're guilty of that, don't drive in Lower Township.

The Lower Township Police Department has announced that they will be targeting drivers who are using a hand-held cell phone for calls and texting while driving through the month of May. In other words, unless you're having a hands-free cell phone conversation, there's a good chance you'll be given a ticket that might cost you over $130.

Remember that using a cell phone while driving is a primary offense in New Jersey and surrounding states.  Hang up!
