Dustin Lynch is on a winning streak right now: His sophomore album, 2014's Where It's At, has spawned two consecutive No. 1 singles -- "Where It's At (Yep, Yep)" and "Hell of a Night" -- and the project's third single, "Mind Reader," is in the Top 20 and climbing. But according to Instagram, the singer is back in the studio, working on his third album.

On Tuesday (March 29) and Wednesday (March 30), Lynch shared two photos of himself in a recording studio, both captioned "tres ..." Recently, the artist told The Boot that he had "a great start" on his new project.

"There’s always pressure, but I think I’ve got a great idea of what I need to do," Lynch says. "I know the songs we have are really strong ... I have a great feeling that they’re good enough to be No. 1 hits, so we’ll just see how we do."

Lynch, who wrote five of the 15 songs on Where It's At, says that he only thinks about picking the best songs, not whether or not he's getting songwriting credits.

"I’m writing a lot of it, but I’m constantly listening, too. I always put my feelers out, tell all the publishers in town, ‘Hey, this is what I’m looking for,’" he explains. "There’s so many great songwriters in town.

"I go back to, why in the world are George Strait, Garth Brooks, Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw still touring, and how are they still touring? And the answer is, they continue to find the best songs they can and record the best songs they can find, whether they write them or not," Lynch continues. "That’s what I’m trying to do."

Where It's At is available for purchase on iTunes and Amazon.
