EHT Police Make Drug Arrest

Police in Egg Harbor Township conducted a motor vehicle stop Monday afternoon that led to the arrest of a local man on drug charges.

Police say they stopped a vehicle for a violation in the Farmington section of the township. An investigation at the scene led to the recovery of over 52 grams of marijuana, packaged for distribution.

A passenger in the car, Victor Matias, 22, was taken into custody. Matias has been charged with "possession of marijuana over 50 grams and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute." He's being held in county jail.
