Police in Egg Harbor Township are asking for the public's help in identifying a woman suspected in a shoplifting incident.

While the photo appears to have come from a grocery store security camera, police say the woman in the photo is believed responsible for a shoplifting incident that occurred at Burlington Coat Factory on January 3rd.

According to police,

The unidentified suspect enters the store, puts 4 pairs of shoes into her bag and attempts to leave the store without paying for the items. The suspect is confronted by security, has the bag taken from her and runs into Boscovs. The suspect was not located by security or police at that time. The suspect, who is depicted in the photos, is a black female, heavy set with a medium complexion. The suspect was last seen wearing black pants, a grey shirt and a black jacket.
