EHT Police Look For Purse Snatcher

Police in Egg Harbor Township are looking for a man who robbed a woman of her purse at a local restaurant yesterday afternoon.

According to police, they responded to  a call shortly after 12:30pm at the McDonald's on the Black Horse Pike.

Officers located a victim, who told police that she was seated in the restaurant when a man came up from behind her, grabbed her purse and ran out the door.

The suspect was followed by two witnesses, who eventually lost sight of the man in the Candlewood Mobile Home Park area.

Police report the victim's purse and wallet were recovered, minus some cash.

Egg Harbor Township police provided the above photos from a security camera. The suspect is described as " a white male medium build and approximately 6 foot tall. The suspect was wearing a green baseball cap, a white sweatshirt and blue jeans."
