And wait until you hear why Ellen DeGeneres gave a New Hampshire waitress a check for $10,000!

Sarah Hoidahl, a waitress in Concord, New Hampshire wanted to pick up the lunch tab for two National Guard soldiers affected by the government shutdown.  It cost her $27.75.

Then, last Friday, Ellen DeGeneres gave Hoidahl $27.75 in cash and a check for $10,000.  DeGeneres heard about the waitress and her kindness when the New Hampshire National Guard posted a picture on their Facebook page.

DeGeneres has invited the waitress out to Hollywood, too!

Very cool!
