Rolling Stone Magazine released a list of the "50 Greatest Live Acts Right Now" and only two country music artist made the list, Eric Church and Taylor Swift.

The list was very rock n roll and pop heavy with the top three artist being Bruce Springsteen, Prince and The Rolling Stones.

Eric Church came in at number 40 while Taylor Swift just barely made the cut at number 49. The list was voted on by rock and pop artist industry insiders and journalist.

The magazine describes Eric Church’s shows as, “a gig that recalls arena rock’s golden age.” Church has been performing at stadium shows all summer opening for Kenny Chesney on his “No Shoes Nation Tour" and says, “When I was growing up, seeing Metallica was an intense experience. It was a prepare-for-three days and then recover for three or four days and that's definitely kind of the way that we approach it.”

Taylor Swift who just barely made the list is described by Rolling Stone as, “a kiddie feminist heroine who knows just the right dose of hooks, glitter, and stories about her famous exes to whip arena crowds into a teary frenzy.”
