The Egg Harbor City Historical Society is sponsoring a “43 and a Day” event at the Roundhouse Museum, 533 London Avenue on Saturday, June 14, 2014, and opening the cornerstone from the former Fanny D. Rittenberg School Annex ,43 years and a day after the cornerstone was placed, in the Annex of the old school. The cornerstone is believed to contain a time capsule, including a letter signed by members of the eighth-grade graduating class. The public and former students and school staff are invited to attend this event at 2 p.m. The Roundhouse Museum will also be opened for visitors from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Admission is free.
