United Way’s Project Warm Heart  and the Atlantic County Sheriff’s R.E.AL Help program have teamed up to present a free Economic & Energy Assistance Resource Expo on Thursday, November 8, aimed at connecting those in need with assistance programs and services that are available in the community. The expo will take place at the Shore Mall in Egg Harbor Township from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

“The goal of this expo is to create awareness of the resources that are available in our community,” said John Emge, United Way Executive Director for Atlantic County and Cape May Counties. “Our local electric and gas companies along with a number of other local agencies have initiated this event as a way to put the information in the hands of those that need it.”  Through a partnership with local energy companies including Atlantic City Electric and South Jersey Gas Company, Atlantic Human Resources, South Jersey Legal Services and United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey,  a number of representatives will be on hand to provide information and answer questions on local programs and process assistance applications.

The Expo will take place inside the Shore Mall in the space in front of the Division of Motor Vehicles. The Mall is located at  6725 Black Horse Pike in Egg Harbor Township.  The expo is open to the public and free of charge.  For additional information, contact Fran Wise at United Way at (609) 404-4483 or Sheriff Frank Balles at 609-909-7211.
