The Greater Egg Harbor City Chamber of Commerce will host its first-‐ever Hometown 5K Race & 1-‐Mile Fun Walk at 8 a.m. on Saturday, July 6. Registration starts at 7 a.m. on the 500-‐block of Philadelphia Avenue. The event kicks-‐off the city’s annual Hometown Celebration, which will be held on the 100-‐ block of
Philadelphia Avenue from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. A Pancake Breakfast will be held
immediately following the race at Mario’s Uptown Grill, 126 Philadelphia Ave. The
cost of the breakfast is $8 payable at the restaurant. Registration for the run and
walk is $20 in advance, $25 on race day, and includes a T-‐shirt. Medals will be
awarded to the top male and female finishers, and first-‐place finishers in nine
age groups. All children under 12 receive a participation medal. Register
