By now you've heard of the 'cronut' craze that has swept New York City. Since the inception of the donut/croissant hybrid, bakeries across the country have taken advantage of the artery hardening fad.

With the trend taking over in cities far and wide, fast food restaurant Jack in the Box has taken notice of the tremendous revenue opportunity and have come up with their own version of the popular pastry. Yes, what basically amounts to a beignet from Louisiana's French Quarter has now made the mainstream... Kind of. They're available, but only in limited areas... Like in their test markets in San Diego County in California. Hopefully, thanks to Jack in the Box, people won't have to wait for hours any more in line at obscene hours or pay equally obscene prices to enjoy their very own tasty treat! I always knew I liked Jack in the Box!
