Fire Next to Cat Country Studios This Morning

A fire in the 900 block of Tilton Road has brought out fire and police crews on a dangerously cold morning.

As I was looking at Twitter this morning, a tweet popped up, "Fire reported in the 900 block of Tilton Road in Northfield. HECK! I'm sitting in that block!

It turns out, according to Twitter, that the fire was reported in the kitchen area of one of the businesses in a small shopping center near our building. Last report we received was the fire was at Capri Pizza.

I was able to walk near the scene and could not see any smoke of flames. Several fire and police crews are currently on the scene, as the temperature hovers near zero, with wind chills approaching -20.

At least check, firefighters were on the roof of the building.

UPDATE: Crews are now off the building. We are hearing reports that the fire, contained to a small area, is out.
