First Atlantic City Beach Concert Announced

The first act has been announced for this summer's Atlantic City Beach Concerts.

Like Blake Shelton, who headlined one of the concerts last summer, the star of this show is familiar to viewers of NBC's The Voice.

It's Adam Levine, and his band, Maroon 5!

This first announced beach concert is scheduled for Sunday, August 16th, on the beach in Atlantic City. Also scheduled to open are Nick Jonas and Matt McAndrew.

What makes this show different from last year's two big beach concerts is that this show will not be free. Tickets go on sale via ticketmaster.com this Friday, June 26th, at 10am.

Tickets will be available starting at $39.50 plus fees.

(Yes, you will need a ticket to get onto the beach that day. The entire beach area will be fenced off from the boardwalk. Will you be able to see the concert for free, standing on the boardwalk? Well, yeah, maybe, kinda........)

Another summer show on the Atlantic City Beach is still expected to happen - and there are strong rumors that that show will definitely be country.  Cat Country 107.3 will announce details as soon as they are available.
