    Macy's Light Show and Dickens Village

    Okay, so this one's not in SNJ, but who cares? It's within an hour's driving distance, it's free, and it's a two-for-one deal!

    The Macy's department store in Philly features two Christmas attractions: the first being the Dickens Village that brings Charles Dickens' holiday classic 'A Christmas Carol' to life with a walk-through tour that's sure to be a hit for all ages.

    After the Dickens Village, head downstairs to get the perfect vantage point for the holiday light show narrated by Julie Andrews.

    Attractions run through December 31st.

    Fireworks on the Waterfront

    Philadelphia PA, Camden NJ

    Looking for something free of charge to do with the kids for New Year's Eve? Simple: Fireworks!

    Seriously though, what child doesn't go nuts over fireworks? Head to the Camden Waterfront for the best view of the Sugarhouse Casino NYE Fireworks! Best part is they go off twice: first at 6 p.m. then at midnight, so you have two chances to see the show!

    Mummers Parade

    Philadelphia, PA

    We couldn't talk about Christmas vacay fun and NOT mention the Mummers Parade! The parade takes place every year in Philly on New Year's Day and features locals from all over including Philly, South Jersey, and Delaware all coming together to ring in the new year with some pizzazz, sparkle, and song.
