Galloway Man Killed – Son Charged

A Galloway man is dead and his son has been charged with aggravated assault.

The Press of Atlantic City reports James Sopuch Sr., 60, was found dead inside his home Saturday night. His son, James Sopuch Jr., 29, has been charged with aggravated assault, according to Atlantic County Prosecutor Jim McClain.

According to the Press:

An autopsy performed Sunday found that Sopuch Sr. died of blunt-force trauma to the head. The death has been ruled a homicide. That means the charge of aggravated assault will likely be upgraded to either manslaughter or murder.
