Galloway Man Struck and Killed By Car This Morning

A 61 year old Galloway man is dead, after being struck by a car early this morning.

Galloway Police say William A. Williams was struck by a car driven by Gloria Carmona, 52, of Little Egg Harbor. The incident took place just after 1:30am at the intersection of Route 9 and Lilly Lake Road.

According to police:

The initial investigation   indicates that Carmona  was operating a 1996 Toyota Camry and traveling north bound on Route 9. As Carmona approached the intersection of Route 9 and Lilly Lake Road, she struck William Williams who was walking in the roadway. Williams was subsequently pronounced deceased at the scene of the accident.
