Galloway Police Ask For Help In Locating Missing Senior Citizen

Police in Galloway Township are asking for the public's help in locating a senior citizen who walked away from her residence last night.

UPDATE: Police report the woman has been found safe.

Police say Antonia Vocino, 84, left her home at Thoreau Terrace in The Sunrise Bay Condominium Complex at about 8:30 last night. Temperatures early this morning were hovering around 30 degrees.

According to police,

Ms. Vocino is 5 foot 6 inches tall with white hair and was last seen wearing sweat pants, a black hat and a denim striped jacket. She may also have a small white poodle in her possession. Ms. Vocino is suffering from the early stages of dementia and her possible destination is unknown.

Again, police now say Vocino has been found safe.
