Georgia’s 5 Favs: A New Year and Lots of Fun New Things!

It's time for the first edition of Georgia's 5 Favs for the new year!

1.  Our Eagles Christmas Tree -

My husband is a huge Eagles fan, so each year we set up an Eagles-themed Christmas tree.  The tree is topped with an Eagles Santa hat and we have an Eagles Christmas Tree skirt.  The tree always stays up until the Eagles are out of the playoffs...  Needless to say, our beautiful tree will come down this weekend.  Despite the Eagles loss, I enjoyed our lovely tree all season long! 

2.  My Latest Stitch Fix - 

This is the one piece I kept from my December Stitch Fix.  I've already worn this light, flowy shirt a few times and I've gotten compliments each time!  It's almost sheer and very lightweight.  It's perfect for work or a casual date!  Here are the other items from my Stitch Fix box that I didn't keep -

I almost kept this blazer....  It was super cute and I liked the green-ish color, but it was a little pricey, so I skipped on the purchase.

This maxi dress was really flattering, but I couldn't justify the $138 price tag!

Jeans are way too hard to order online - I need to try on 114 pairs before I find one I like in a store...

This was another piece that I almost purchased.  I love the sheer fabric with a patterned tank underneath, but I wasn't crazy about the gathering around the waist.

All in all, another successful month from Stitch Fix!  I can't wait for my next box!

3.  Ass Kisser Wine -

My sister in law had this bottle of wine at her house over the holidays and the bottle was too funny to not open!  The best part is that the wine was really good!  An easy-to-drink red wine that would be a great gift!

4. Yankee Candle Holiday Garland Candle -

I love my Yankee Candle holiday scents!!  I bought two large jars of this scent this year.  And I'm still burning them!  It smells like a fresh cut Christmas tree.  Even after we take down our Eagles tree (see #1 up above...) this weekend, I will still burn this scent.

5.  Dark and Stormy Nail Polish -

I love this nail polish!  I've received different colors of this brand in my Birchbox throughout the months, but this color is my absolute favorite!  It's called Dark and Stormy.  It's a blueish black metallic color...  I love it!
